Families often find it challenging to spend quality time together, away from the distractions of modern life. Yet, there's a simple and beautiful way to connect with nature and with each other – through the act of harvesting. Imagine the joy of plucking fresh leafy greens, of feeling the earth between your fingers, and of knowing that the food on your table comes from your own hands. Sunrise Leafy Harvest, offered by us, provides a unique opportunity for families to bond while gaining an introduction to natural farming and participating in the magic of harvesting.

The act of harvesting is a deeply satisfying and joyful experience that transcends age and background. Whether you're a child or an adult, there's an innate connection to nature that occurs when you harvest your own food. It's a hands-on encounter with the earth's bounty, a reminder of the cycles of life, and a way to appreciate the value of our food. And what could be more special than sharing this experience with your family?

What will you learn:

An Introduction to Natural Farming

The program begins with an introduction to natural farming, a method of cultivating the land that respects the environment and promotes safe food systems. Natural farming is a way of growing food that minimizes the use of chemicals, conserves resources, and works in harmony with the local ecosystem. Participants will gain valuable insights into how natural farming contributes to healthier produce and a more sustainable planet.

The Importance of Safe Food Systems

In today's world, concerns about food safety and the impact of conventional agriculture on our health and the environment are growing. Understanding the importance of safe food systems is crucial for making informed choices about the food we consume. During the program, families will learn about the benefits of natural farming in terms of safe, nutritious, and chemical-free food production.

Harvesting Leafy Greens

The heart of the program is the hands-on experience of harvesting leafy greens. Families will have the opportunity to pick fresh, vibrant leafys -palak, methi and coriander directly from the plants. It's a tactile experience that connects you with the earth, the plants, and the source of your food.

Making Jeevamrutham: A Biofertilizer

The program goes beyond harvesting by introducing families to the art of making jeevamrutham, a biofertilizer. Jeevamrutham is a natural way to enhance soil fertility and promote healthy plant growth. Participants will learn how to create this eco-friendly fertilizer, which can be used to enrich their own gardens or potted plants at home.
