I am Sandya R, Tipparti, and I am a Montessori teacher, I hold an AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) certification with over 25 years of experience and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, which has allowed me to deepen my understanding of educational practices and pedagogy. I am excited to join the team at Organo Et School, DGM.
My journey in education has been driven by a profound passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning. My core belief centers around the Montessori philosophy, which champions individualized, experiential, and child-centric education. I have always viewed education as a gateway to a brighter future, both for the individual child and for the world at large. One of the central doctrines of education, and something that has become increasingly significant in today's world, is eco-sustainability. With my extensive experience, I have witnessed the transformative power of education.
To instill sustainability in people, especially young children, I believe in a holistic approach. It begins with hands-on experiences that allow children to explore the natural world, from planting seeds and tending to gardens to learning about wildlife in their local habitat. Incorporating sustainability into the curriculum also involves discussing the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling to minimize waste. Children learn not only the “Who”, and "What" but also the "Why", “ Where”, “When”, and “How” behind these practices, instilling a sense of responsibility.
Furthermore, my passion extends to older children, where I strive to emphasize the global interconnectedness of environmental issues. This means exploring complex topics such as climate change, conservation efforts, and sustainable living practices. Through experiential learning, discussions, and age-appropriate activities, I aim to help older students also understand the significance of their individual actions in shaping the world's future.
Together, we can raise a generation of environmentally responsible, empathetic, and informed global citizens who understand that the well-being of our planet is a shared responsibility.
My mission is not only to impart knowledge but also to shape responsible global citizens who understand the importance of taking care of our planet. By combining my teaching experience, Montessori background, and commitment to sustainability, I aim to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the children I teach and the world they will inherit.
