On August 4th, 2024, ten families gathered at the paddy field in Bakaram village for a hands-on experience in paddy plantation, aimed at sharing the joy of planting seedlings together. Upon arrival, the families were warmly welcomed and guided to a tented area.

The OES team provided an overview of the event before leading the participants to the paddy field, barefoot, to truly connect with the earth. Mrs. Prabha Dhamodharan and Mrs. SriLakshmi Battula, General Managers of Farming & Animal Husbandry at Organo, expertly guided the group in the careful planting of delicate saplings.

Both children and adults enthusiastically engaged in the activity, making it a memorable experience. The joy on the children's faces as they planted the paddy was truly heart-warming.

Local women farmers also demonstrated the transplantation method, singing traditional songs that added to the cultural richness of the day.

After the plantation, participants washed up, and the children received participation certificates from the OES team. As the day drew to a close, each family was presented with a goodie bag containing five varieties of rice, as a token of appreciation for their participation.
