With rain forecasts threatening our farm again, we decided to have the long overdue session on Botanic Illustration and the importance of Plant Documentation. Our regular Creative Expert Anu Dahiya led this event and engaged the children in a step-by-step method of plant observation and documentation.

The children were asked to forage for different leaves and flowers. They were then taught to use those objects as reference and illustrate the 1st letter of their respective names. The session helped the children through sensory learning, object observations as well as creative expression.

With each of them using various colors and shapes, the children created interesting art works.

At the end of each session, the children were given a picture frame as well as short home exercise to practice what they learnt at the farm.
