On the 11th of November, as a prelude to Diwali celebrations, Organo Et School organized a delightful event—Marigold Harvest and Diya Making workshop—for families. The occasion brought immense joy to all the participating families.
The event commenced with a warm welcome and an introduction to the day's program. Families were then encouraged to engage in the art of diya making. Clay, with its earthy texture, served as the medium for participants to craft and mold their own diyas.
Under the expert guidance of our skilled potter, Mr. Balaraju, both adults and children enthusiastically fashioned unique diyas with their own hands. The children, in particular, found immense delight in this hands-on activity.
Upon completing the diya making session, participants were asked to partake in the harvest of palak (spinach) and coriander. This experience proved to be deeply satisfying and brought boundless joy to all the families involved.
Subsequently, they were led to our flourishing marigold farm, where they harvested vibrant yellow and orange marigolds.
The entire day was a celebration of creativity, nature, and community spirit. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the enthusiastic participants who contributed to making this event a resounding success. Their presence added immeasurable value to this wonderful experience, and we eagerly anticipate organizing more such enriching activities in the future.
