Organo Et School invites you to be part of a unique and immersive experience of paddy plantation at our farm in Bakaram! Discover the essence of rural life and bond with your loved ones amidst the lush greenery as you learn the art of transplanting paddy. 

Significance of paddy in indian culture

For centuries, paddy has been more than just a staple food in India; it has shaped the way of life, festivals, and social practices of its people. The cultivation and consumption of paddy have woven themselves into the very fabric of Indian society.

What is paddy plantation

Paddy plantation is the process of growing rice by transplanting young seedlings into prepared fields. It is an ancient agricultural practice that brings together communities and families in a harmonious celebration of nature and agriculture.

The paddy plantation event offers a perfect opportunity for you to disconnect from your busy schedules and reconnect with nature and your family. This enriching experience provides a hands-on learning opportunity that is not only educational but also incredibly enjoyable creating cherished memories.

Event Itinerary: 

8:30 - 9:30 AM: Breakfast (made by Slow Down Place Restaurant team) Start your day with a delicious and hearty breakfast prepared by SDP team. 

9:30 - 10:30 AM: Paddy Plantation After breakfast, it's time to roll up your sleeves and get ready for the main event – paddy plantation! Our farming experts will provide you with paddy saplings and guide you through the transplanting process. Experience the joy of working together as a family and gain valuable insights into traditional farming techniques.

Other Advice:

  1. Please come dressed in comfortable clothes that can get muddy, as paddy plantation is an interactive experience involving the soil.
  2. Cover your cars' interiors with newspaper to keep them clean.
  3. We will provide a designated hand and leg wash area to freshen up after the plantation. ( There are no toilets available at the farm)
