Children’s Day Celebration at Organo Camp Schools

On the eve of Children’s Day, the OES team visited Organo camp schools to celebrate and engage with the children through creativity and learning.

The day began with a visit to the Organo Antharam site camp school, where the team interacted individually with each child. The children showcased their creativity through painting with leaves, crafting imaginative artworks on paper.

OES team member Kalyani S captivated the young audience with the story “Barsaat and Maindaak,” which the children found both relatable and fascinating as it resonated with their surroundings.

Activity sheets were provided to enhance their learning experience, and the session concluded with the distribution of healthy, nutritious snacks.

Next, the team visited the Organo Damariogidda camp school, where the students were very much excited to meet all of us.The teacher guided the children in creating intricate designs such as trees,animals and fruits using carefully chosen leaves.

Alongside this, Kalyani narrated a story that emphasized the beauty of nature, which the children thoroughly enjoyed.

The OES team also introduced activity sheets designed to blend concepts of math and nature, fostering both creativity and logical thinking. The children actively participated by answering questions, reciting rhymes, and working on their activity sheets. The session ended with healthy snacks and warm goodbyes.

The final stop was at the Organo Kandawada camp school, where the children were thrilled by Kalyani’s storytelling.

The story brought wide smiles and laughter, especially when the children imitated animal sounds as part of the session. Apart from leaf painting, the teacher introduced new elements like thumbprints, bottle lids, and vegetables like lemons and ladyfingers to create unique art.
