The festivities kicked off with a diya-painting session, inspired by the approaching Diwali celebrations. Each child took delight in selecting colours and patterns to decorate their clay lamps, creating vibrant and unique designs. This hands-on activity not only tapped into their artistic abilities but also introduced them to traditional customs associated with these festivals.

Following the diya painting, the children had a chance to experience the art of pottery. Guided by Mr. Balraju, a skilled potter, they learned to shape clay on the wheel, molding it into various forms with patience and precision. For many, this was a first-time experience, and they were captivated by the process of working with natural materials to create something beautiful. The pottery activity left them with a newfound appreciation for the craft and the satisfaction of making their own art pieces.

Some participants also tried their hand at botanical illustration. This free-form art allowed them to express themselves uniquely and added another layer of artistic diversity to the day’s activities.
