On August 20th, 2024, Organo Et school organized snake awareness workshop in collaboration with Friends of Snake Society(FOSS) at Organo Antharam to educate the Organo Eco Habitats site workers and children of site camp.
For the participants, the snake awareness workshop was a really educational and interesting experience The attendees saw ten live snakes, all of which were rescued by FOSS and are native to Telangana.
The purpose of the event was to inform participants on the various species of snakes that may be found in the area, with an emphasis on how to identify venomous snakes from non-venomous ones.
In addition to this, participants delved into Indian cultural beliefs and intriguing facts about snakes.
Many questions were answered by the FOSS team, which promoted a greater knowledge and appreciation of these reptiles.
