We were invited by ABB to give an overview of sustainability and why it matters to everyone. We presented the big picture of the climate crisis, Organo's attempts to reduce it, and how OES can engage with ABB to create green workspaces and promote earth-friendly habits. The event was attended by over 70+ ABB employees in their office. Organo Et School (OES), its parent firm Organo Eco Habitats, and sister entity Organo Farm Store (OFS) gathered at ABB on June 8th, 2023.
Mrs. Meena Murugappan, Director of Product Strategy & Innovation, interacted with the audience about the climate crisis and how we can lessen it by mindset change and demand minimization. She emphasized the significance of accepting responsibility, bringing about a change in lifestyle, adopting conscious consumption, and being able to react now rather than waiting for change to come externally.
Mr. Rakesh Koti, Head of Sustainability, also gave a presentation on Organo's purpose and core values and revealed the team's goal of creating eco-habitats that celebrate living. He spoke passionately about Organo's philosophy and how it incorporates sustainable solutions to help communities become self-sufficient, empowering users to adopt sustainability and transform people's perspectives on how to live.
Mrs. Meena concluded her presentation by proposing a collaboration between Organo and ABB to promote environment-friendly habits among the office staff.
Following the talk, the ABB team went to the Organo stalls. They played a seed identification game at the OES stall and received seed pouches. They also communicated with our team members to know more about sustainability. Organo Farm Store showcased organic products that were both safe and witnessed. Organo team used VR technology to provide attendees with a more immersive view of Organo's eco-communities.
