Organo Et School, in collaboration with the Friends of Snakes Society, will host a workshop to raise awareness of snakes on Saturday, May 11, 2024. This initiative aimed to raise knowledge and acceptance of living in a biodiverse environment in harmony with other animals. However, due to urbanization and the degradation of green biodiverse environments for human settlements, these reptiles are homeless and displaced from their natural habitat.

This workshop aimed to educate participants on snakes and human habitats, sighting a snake and handling it safely, identifying venomous and non-venomous snakes, first aid for snake bites, and eliminating myths about snakes in Indian society. It addresses key aspects of snake-human interactions and promotes a better understanding of these often misunderstood creatures. With proper information, the workshop can empower individuals to coexist harmoniously with snakes and contribute to their conservation.
